Building C3 will top out at 6 stories and contain 123 units of affordable housing and one superintendent unit. The mix includes 18 studios, 47 one-bedrooms, 47 two-bedrooms and 11 three-bedrooms. The building incorporates the following sustainable features:

  • Passive House design

  • Closed loop geothermal system for energy efficient heating and cooling

  • All electric design

  • Solar panels as a renewable energy source

  • Other innovations such as recapture of heat from wastewater through the Piranha system

  • Green workforce training to dually achieve the sustainability and community development goals of the project
